A Peace Convention was organised for Class VIII students of Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School Gwalior with the objective of promoting inner peace, tolerance and responsible behaviour among young learners.
The programme focused on creating awareness about the safe and ethical use of social media, cyber safety and responsible digital conduct. Emphasis was also laid on respecting elders, cultivating moral values and fostering harmonious relationships.
Sessions on meditation and inner peace highlighted their role in stress management, improved concentration and emotional well-being. Discussions on tolerance and peaceful coexistence encouraged students to appreciate diversity and resolve conflicts amicably.
The convention featured eminent resource persons, Dr. Bindu Singhal, Medical Specialist, and Senior Faculty, Regional Health and Family Welfare Training Centre Dr. Shirish Singhal, Heartfulness Trainer and Dr. Sunil Goyal, Senior Journalist and Peace Advocate, who shared valuable insights with the students.
School Principal Rev. Sr. Ramya addressed the gathering and motivated students to lead disciplined, peaceful and value-based lives. The programme concluded on an inspiring note, leaving a positive and lasting impression on the students.
