If the fruit sellers are to be believed, the prices of mangoes will remain stable for a few days and then may increase. Dussheri and Desi mangoes are dominating the market right now. Earlier, mangoes of other varieties including Langra, Banarasi and Kalmi had come in the market, their prices were 60 to 80 rupees per kg.
Fruit trader Aslam said that the arrival of Dussheri mangoes has increased in the market since the last two weeks. Earlier, Badam, Langra and Banarasi varieties dominated the market. In the beginning, green Dussehri mangoes came in the market. Customers were reluctant to buy them, but now good mangoes are coming in the market. Dussehri was small in size in the beginning. But now big mangoes are available. The reason for small mangoes is said to be plucking the fruit before time.
This time due to good production, the price of the king of fruits, mango, is less than last year. Currently, there is bumper arrival of Neelam, Langra, Banarasi Neelam, Totapuri, Kalmi and Chaunsa varieties of mangoes along with Dussehri. In such a situation, the prices of Dussehri, Kalmi, Totapuri, Chaunsa, Langra and other mangoes are low.
Fruit sellers said that the arrival of mangoes lasts till August. In the market, the price of Dussehri, Kalmi, Totapuri and Chaunsa, Langra, Sindoori, Desi Sangrampur’s Aman mangoes is 50 to 60 rupees and up to 80 rupees per kg. The price of slightly good and big size mangoes is a little higher. At this time, there is a bumper arrival of Dussehri mangoes in the market.
Shops are also operating on the highway. Mango shops are also operating on the highway at Ganj Bazar District Industry and Trade Center Market Sanchi Road. Mangoes are also being sold on hand carts and footpaths in the market.
