Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav was paid a courtesy visit by actor Annu Kapoor at Samatva Bhavan (CM’s official residence) in Bhopal on Tuesday. Annu Kapoor said that he is from Madhya Pradesh and he feels happy coming here. He is especially impressed by the culture of Malwa region.
Annu Kapoor said he has a deep attachment with Ujjain, the city of Baba Mahakal. Kapoor said that important work is underway in Madhya Pradesh aimed at promoting development along with the preservation of heritage. He said Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is the pride of Malwa, Madhya Pradesh as well as the nation.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav congratulated Annu Kapoor for his long service to the national language Hindi through Antakshari on Indian film industry and Doordarshan. Dr. Yadav said that Annu Kapoor has given impressive presentation of Shiv Tandava Srot and other compositions of Sanskrit language on hundreds of platforms.
Mohan Yadav said Sanskrit is the mother of many languages. In this regard, the contribution of Annu Kapoor is important. On the request of CM Dr. Yadav, actor Shri Kapoor also recited some Sanskrit shlokas. On this occasion, Annu Kapoor also gave information about his art journey and his connection with the cities and towns of Madhya Pradesh.
CM Dr. Mohan Yadav welcomed Annu Kapoor and his companion Dev Kumar with a bouquet of flowers.
