A grand awareness run was organized today at NITTTR Bhopal under the Government of India’s “Drug-Free Youth, Developed India” (Nasha-Mukt Yuva, Viksit Bharat) campaign.
The objective of the run was to raise awareness among the youth about the adverse effects of substance abuse and to reinforce the resolve for a drug-free India.
The event was inaugurated by the Institute’s Director, Professor C.C. Tripathi. Faculty members, officials, and staff of the Institute were present on the occasion. A highlight of the event was the enthusiastic participation of students and their parents—who had arrived at NITTTR Bhopal from across the country for the ‘Vigyan Manthan’ program—in the run.
Chanting slogans such as “Drug-Free Youth, Developed India,” the participants raised public awareness against substance abuse. The Institute’s Director stated that the youth represent the future of the nation and play a crucial role in building a drug-free society.
