Indore: Children often move away from home or their city for work and other commitments, while other family members remain at home. Due to their own responsibilities and busy schedules, even they rarely get time for themselves, let alone a chance to showcase their talents.
Understanding this deeply, North India’s leading PR agency, PR 24×7, recently organized a unique virtual event named ‘Parivar Connect’, which became a memorable experience for the company’s employees and their families.
The first prize was awarded to 73-year-old Kiran Gaur from Ujjain for her melodious rendition of the song ‘Aaja Sanam Madhur Chaandani Mein Hum’. Despite being the eldest participant, her passion and spirit were remarkable. Not only that, she also presented a beautiful folk song at the end of the event, adding a sweet conclusion. She said, “I have immense love for music, but I never got an opportunity to sing in front of an audience. At this stage of life, being able to showcase my talent is a big deal. This platform is very close to my heart.”
The second prize was awarded to couple Kirti and Dinesh Tandon for their charming couple dance on the song ‘Ae Meri Johrazbeen’, Deepti and Nirbhay Singh Yadav for a beautiful Garba performance, and Tanushree and Manav Jain for a powerful singing performance on the song ‘Khamoshiyan’.
The third prize went to Shanti Shukla for her devotional performance of ‘Achyutam Keshavam Krishna Damodaram’ and Ranjita Umath for a brilliant Punjabi song performance of ‘Jinna Mera Todda Ae Dil’.
Atul Malikram, Founder of PR 24×7, explained that the sole purpose of organizing this event was to provide a platform for the family members of employees, which they perhaps never got after their school and college days. Through this platform, they could freely showcase their talents, relive their childhood moments, and go beyond their own expectations. This was a small effort to promote togetherness and talent.
In addition to cash prizes, all participants were awarded complimentary rewards, reflecting a unique and heartfelt intention. Due to parental responsibilities, couples rarely get the chance to spend special quality time together. While children are a part of their world, the initiative aimed to encourage parents to spend meaningful time together by providing them a complimentary dining experience at any restaurant in their city. This initiative not only served as entertainment but also strengthened family bonding and a sense of belonging. Several participants became emotional while performing, which underlined the event’s success and heartfelt impact.
