Former Congress president and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi will visit Poonch region of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday and meet people affected by Pakistani shelling during military action there.
Giving this information on Friday, Congress Communication Department in-charge Jairam Ramesh said that Rahul Gandhi will be on a visit to Poonch region of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, May 24 and during this he will meet the victims of Pakistani shelling in Poonch region.
He said, ‘Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi will visit Poonch tomorrow, May 24, where he will meet the families affected by the recent shelling by Pakistan.
Earlier, Rahul had gone to Srinagar on April 25 to meet the people injured in the Pahalgam terror attack and many other stakeholders. He had also met Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah at that time.
