On Saturday, Trump said in a post on his social media platform ‘Truth Social’, “After mediation by the US, I am happy to announce that India and Pakistan have agreed to a complete and immediate ceasefire.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has said that India and Pakistan have agreed to start talks on a wide range of issues. He said, “India and Pakistan have agreed to an immediate ceasefire and to discuss a wide range of issues at a neutral place.”
What did Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar say?
Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has also posted on social media and informed that “Pakistan and India have agreed to a complete and immediate ceasefire.”
Ishaq Dar said, “Pakistan and India have agreed to a ceasefire with immediate effect. Pakistan has always wanted peace and security in the region without compromising its sovereignty and territorial integrity.”
