
Prachi Bansal, who plays Sita in Sony SAB’s serial Shrimad Ramayan, has said that playing the character of Sita has been a truly enlightening experience for her, as her journey is both extremely challenging and inspiring.
Sony SAB’s Shrimad Ramayan depicts the epic saga of Shri Ram (Sujay Reu) and Sita (Prachi Bansal), which brings alive the timeless story of love, sacrifice and duty.
Prachi Bansal, who plays the role of Sita in this serial, talked about her journey in the show. From embracing the complexities of Sita’s character to her relationship with women, Prachi shared her feelings about the emotional and empowering experience of playing the role of one of the most iconic characters in Indian mythology.
Prachi Bansal said, playing the character of Sita has been a truly enlightening experience for her, as her journey is both extremely challenging and inspiring. Sita’s story teaches us the importance of staying strong and maintaining our values in the face of adversity, no matter how difficult the situation is. She carried out her responsibilities with grace, courage and strength.
Prachi said Sita’s life is a lesson in resilience, self-respect and the ability to prioritise what is right, especially when the odds are against you. These qualities make Sita a lasting source of inspiration for all, especially mothers who strive to balance their personal struggles with their duties towards their family.
Prachi Bansal said, “Playing Sita has brought many changes in me; my thoughts have changed, and I feel more empowered and deeply connected to my inner values. Similarly, like Sita, even though I have faced many struggles in my personal life, I am now happy and content. I have no complaints now. However, as human beings we all experience doubts and uncertainties from time to time.”
Prachi said further, “My only message to the audience is that I am very grateful to you for giving me so much love. I feel really blessed to have played this role, and I am very happy that the audience is loving it so much. I will continue to work with all my heart!”
