Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, the largest mobility expo in India, today at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 is being held from 17-22 January, 2025 across three separate venues: Bharat Mandapam & Yashobhoomi in New Delhi and India Expo Center & Mart, Greater Noida.
India’s leading vehicle exhibition, which takes place every two years, has now merged with the ‘Bharat Mobility Global Expo’. After more than a decade at the India Expo Center and Mart in Greater Noida, the event is returning to its original location at Pragati Maidan, now known as Bharat Mandapam. The global vehicle exhibition is being organized in collaboration with various industry organizations and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
Expo will host over 9 concurrent shows, 20+ conferences and pavilions. In addition, the Expo will also feature states sessions to showcase policies and initiatives in the mobility sector to enable collaboration between industry and regional levels.
Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 aims to unite the entire mobility value chain under one umbrella. This year’s expo has a special emphasis on the global significance with participation from across the globe as exhibitors and visitors. It is an industry-led and government-supported initiative and is being coordinated by Engineering Export Promotion Council of India with the joint support of various industry bodies and partner organizations.
Expo will have 5,100 international participants. According to an estimate, more than five lakh people from all over the world can participate in it. In the vehicle segment at Bharat Mandapam, electric vehicles are expected to be in the headlines. Leading vehicle company Maruti Suzuki is preparing to introduce its first electric vehicle, SUV E Vitara.
At the same time, Hyundai Motor India Ltd will introduce the EV version of Creta for the first time. In the luxury segment, Germany’s Mercedes-Benz will introduce its electric EQS Maybach SUV, while the electric concept will display the CLA and G electric SUVs. Similarly, BMW will introduce the all-electric BMW i7 apart from introducing the new BMW X3.
