Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh passed away at the age of 92 on December 26 at Delhi AIIMS. Tributes ontinue to pour in from across the nation, with many mourning his loss as the “end of an era.” President Droupadi Murmu, PM Modi, Congress President Kharge are among those who condoled Singh’s demise.
Rahul Gandhi said: “Manmohan Singh Ji led India with immense wisdom and integrity. His humility and deep understanding of economics inspired the nation.
“I have lost a mentor and guide. Millions of us who admired him will remember him with the utmost pride. My heartfelt condolences to Mrs. Kaur and the family.?
Priyanka Gandhi said few people in politics inspire the kind of respect that Sardar Manmohan Singh ji did. His honesty will always be an inspiration for us and he will forever stand tall among those who truly love this country as someone who remained steadfast in his commitment to serve the nation despite being subjected to unfair and deeply personal attacks by his opponents.

The central government has declared 7 days of national mourning following the demise of Manmohan SIngh. Also, all tomorrow’s (Friday) programs have been cancelled. Dr. Manmohan Singh’s last rites will be performed with state honors.
Rahul Gandhi and party president Mallikarjun Kharge reached Delhi late night from Belgaum.
Meanwhile, the Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting going on in Belgaum, Karnataka has been cancelled.
