Mumbai: Every winter, something mesmerizing sweeps across IIT Bombay. The campus transforms into a world where music drips from every corner, fashion takes over the streets, laughter echoes through auditoriums, and creativity becomes a language everyone speaks.
Mood Indigo, fondly known as MI, isn’t just a college fest, it’s a phenomenon. This year, from 16th to 18th December, the campus will come alive for three unforgettable days when thousands of young people from across India (and beyond!) gather to dance harder, cheer louder, try crazier things, and make brighter memories than ever before.
And the best part? It’s completely free for all college students, making it the most iconic open gateway to art, culture, music, and limitless fun. Think of it as a carnival for your inner artist, a playground for your wildest imagination, and the ultimate bucket-list festival for anyone who loves music, creativity, or simply the thrill of being part of something huge and magical. This is where legends perform, stars are born, and college kids turn into campus celebrities overnight. Mood Indigo is youthful, chaotic, vibrant, and absolutely unforgettable.
What began in 1971 as a modest campus event has grown into Asia’s largest college cultural festival, a global symbol of youth culture that continues to evolve each year. Over the decades, Mood Indigo has built a legacy of bringing together extraordinary talent in music, performing arts, lifestyle, fashion, and entertainment. Its stages have welcomed everything from rock icons and classical maestros to Bollywood superstars and pioneering international artists, all contributing to the festival’s rich and ever-growing history.
Mood Indigo 2025 brings a captivating lineup that promises high-energy concerts, star-studded appearances, and unforgettable moments. Taking center stage, this year are some of the most celebrated artists in the industry. Sonu Nigam will bring nostalgia and emotion, while global indie-pop favourite Dhruv adds an international shimmer.
Hip-hop fans can look forward to Seedhe Maut and Karma, while rock and fusion lovers will be treated to Chaar Diwari and the soulful Anand Bhaskar Collective. Adding a divine touch, Bismil will deliver a powerful sufi experience, and Belgian EDM artist Romeo Blanco will ignite the night with an electrifying set.
The glamour quotient rises with appearances by Rakul Preet Singh, Pulkit Samrat, Kavitha Seth, Archana Puran Singh, Vicky Kaushal, and Jaideep Ahlawat, along with a laughter-packed set by comedian Rahul Subramanian.
So, mark your calendars, gather your gang, and get ready for pure magic. See you from 16th to 18th December at IIT Bombay. Register now at moodi.org and follow @iitbombay.moodi on Instagram for more headliners!
