A Hindi workshop on the topic “Implementation and compliance of the official language Hindi” was organized by the Rajbhasha Cell at the National Institute of Technical Teacher Training and Research (NITTTR), Bhopal.
Addressing the employees in this workshop, Director of the Institute and President of TOLIC, Prof. Chandra Charu Tripathi said that unity and dialogue are necessary to achieve any major objective, and language plays an important role in this. Today Hindi is rapidly moving towards becoming a global language. The foundation of man’s development lies in his mother tongue. Hindi language has made a special contribution in connecting people in India’s freedom struggle movement.
The Rajbhasha Cell of NITTTR Bhopal is continuously making efforts towards the promotion and propagation of the official language Hindi, as a result of which the Institute has received 07 awards from various national forums in the last 02 years.
As a subject expert, Hindi Officer of IISER Bhopal, Bharat Bhushan Deshmukh provided training to all the employees on “Office Translation”. He said that the translator has freedom in adding or subtracting words, but it is the responsibility of the translator to preserve the feelings in the right form. He urged the employees to promote Hindi in their core works and use English only as the language of translation.
As the other expert, Sanjay Tripathi, Secretary-TOLIC gave a lecture on “AI Translation Tools” and Mrs. Babli Chaturvedi, Secretary of the Rajbhasha Cell of the Institute, provided detailed information on “Official Language Policy of the Union, Rajbhasha Adhiniyam 1963 and Rajbhasha Niyam 1976”.
Rajbhasha Cell Coordinator Dr. P.K. Purohit, describing the achievements of the official language of the institute, said that today Hindi has made its mark on the world stage. The global expansion of Hindi ranges from language to culture. Today Hindi is being taught in many universities of the world. We have to ensure that Hindi is not only made an integral part of our lives, but it is also used more and more at the workplace. Alongwith Institute, officers and employees from Gujarat, Goa, Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra were also present in the workshop.
