The BSSS Institute of Advanced Studies (BSSS IAS), Bhopal, successfully organized X Curio’25 – National Level Summer Internship Presentation Competition on Friday, October 31. Guided by the theme “Unveiling Ideas, Unlocking Potential,” the competition provided a national platform for students to present their summer internship projects.
The prestigious flagship event brought together young innovators and emerging leaders from 14 different B-Schools across India, transforming the campus into a vibrant arena of creativity, collaboration, experience sharing, and experiential learning among MBA students.
The Chief Guest, Ranjeet Kumar Soni, CGM & Zonal Head, IDBI Bank, Bhopal Zone, appreciated the initiative for nurturing an innovation-driven mindset among students. He inspired the participants with the powerful message that “one has to emulate from self, not others,” urging them to pursue originality, integrity, and self-motivation in their professional journeys.
In his address, Dr. Fr. John P.J., Executive Director, BSSS IAS, emphasized the institute’s unwavering commitment to positioning summer internships as a crucial component of professional learning and career development, reflected in its 100 percent summer internship placement record. By aligning opportunities with students’ interests and aspirations, and offering national-level platforms like X-Curio’25, BSSS IAS continues to enhance applied exposure, industry readiness, and holistic professional growth.
Setting a high benchmark for industry relevance, the competition fortified the institutional mandate for maximizing career readiness by assembling a highly credentialed and distinguished group of professionals from various fields.
The core Expert Panel included A. K. Dharni, an IFS officer and Rtd. former PCCF, Kerala, and the newly appointed Chairman of the State Environment Appraisal Committee, Kerala, along with C. S. Rathore, a Rtd. Professor and Dean from IIFM, Bhopal.
This academic and environmental expertise was complemented by prominent HR and management figures such as Anil Kumar Singh, National Mission Manager for the National Livelihoods Mission (NRLM); Abhishek Mahesh, Sr. Manager at ICICI Prudential; Ms Anam Farooqui, Sr. Manager at Shambhala & Tesu India; and Ms Niharika Bhushal, HR Manager at Sarna Foam Pvt. Ltd.
Additionally, the event was graced by Prasoon Pratap Singh, AGM & Branch Head, IDBI, Arera Colony Branch, Bhopal, who attended as the Special Guest.
