The Adventure Cell of Bhopal School of Social Sciences (BSSS) successfully organized a thrilling adventure camp at Hampta Pass, Manali, one of the most challenging snowy treks in India at an altitude of 14,500 feet.
These 254 enthusiastic students associated with Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Abhiyan participated in this high altitude expedition, demonstrating remarkable determination, resilience and teamwork.
On May 27, 2025, the students triumphantly reached the summit and proudly hoisted the national flag, which was a moment of great pride and patriotism for the entire BSSS community.
The Hampta Pass Trek, which starts from a place named Jobra, located at a distance of 18 km from Manali, is currently one of the most famous trekking destinations in Himachal Pradesh.
Basically, Hampta Pass is a pass connecting Kullu Valley and Lahaul Valley of the Himalayas. On one side of this pass are the highest altitude alpine meadows of Kullu valley and on the other side is the rocky barren desert of Lahaul valley. Seeing this successful expedition, the principal of the college Dr. Father John PJ congratulated Adventure Cell Incharge Dr. Vishal Singh Sengar and Captain Nasir Ali.
