Bhopal: Workshop on Self Defense Techniques for Girls at BSSS

Student Welfare and Orientation Committee, Bhopal School of Social Science (BSSS) Bhopal, in collaboration with the Department of Physical Education and NCC, organised a 6-day Self Defense Workshop for Girls.

The workshop aimed to equip girls with basic self-defense techniques to boost their confidence in handling difficult situations at times. The workshop instilled situational awareness, basic strikes, escapes, and strategies to handle potential threats.

Participants gained valuable insights into personal safety measures through interactive sessions, hands-on training, and real-life scenario simulations. It was a free-of-charge workshop for all girls’ students of BSSS. The event was coordinated by Dr. Darshan Subherwal, Dr. Sangeetika Mishra, and Dr. Rasmeet K. Malhi.
