Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has recently made a second investment in property in Ayodhya. According to a media report, Big-B purchased a large plot of land in Ayodhya through his Harivansh Rai Bachchan Trust, which is situated about 10 km from the Ram Mandir.
According to the report, the Harivansh Rai Bachchan Trust, formed in 2013 in honor of Amitabh Bachchan’s father, has bought land in Ayodhya. This land is spread over 54,454 square feet and is the second property acquired by the Bachchan family in the holy city. Earlier, in January 2024, Big-B purchased a portion of land in the Haveli Awadh area for Rs 4.54 crore.
According to the media reports, both land deals have been finalized by a person named Rajesh Rishikesh Yadav on behalf of Big-B. Yadav said that the land in Haveli Awadh will be used for residential purposes, while the larger land plot purchased near the Ram Temple will be used for the Harivansh Rai Bachchan Trust. If reports are to be believed, Amitabh Bachchan intends to build a memorial there in honor of his father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan.
