Madhya Pradesh CM Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the state, which has already earned the title of Tiger State in India, will soon be gifted with a new tiger reserve. Madhav National Park in Shivpuri district will become the state’s 9th tiger reserve, emerging as a major tourism hub for wildlife enthusiasts in the Chambal region.
CM Mohan Yadav said that he will personally release a pair of tigers into Madhav National Park. The increase in tourist footfall in the Chambal range will create employment and self-employment opportunities for local youth.
CM said that for the first time in Asia, cheetahs have made Kuno National Park in the Chambal region their home. Additionally, projects for the conservation of gharials and dolphins are underway in the Chambal river area.
In a message to the media, CM Mohan Yadav highlighted that Madhya Pradesh has the highest number of tigers in the country, attracting a large number of tourists. All national parks in the state witness a steady inflow of visitors throughout the season for jungle safaris.
Expressing happiness over the rising tiger population and conservation achievements, CM Mohan Yadav congratulated the officials and staff of the Forest Department, as well as the people of the state.
वन्यजीव प्रेमियों के लिए पर्यटन का प्रमुख केंद्र बनेगा चंबल; मुख्यमंत्री मोहन यादव शिवपुरी के माधव नेशनल पार्क में छोड़ेंगे बाघों का जोड़ा
मध्य प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. मोहन यादव ने कहा है कि भारत में टाइगर स्टेट का दर्जा हासिल कर चुके मध्यप्रदेश को जल्द ही एक नए टाइगर रिजर्व पार्क की सौगात मिलने जा रही है। शिवपुरी जिले का माधव नेशनल पार्क प्रदेश का 9वां बाघ संरक्षित क्षेत्र होगा, जो चंबल क्षेत्र में वन्य जीव प्रेमियों के लिए पर्यटन का प्रमुख केंद्र बनकर उभरेगा।
मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. यादव ने कहा कि वे स्वयं बाघों का एक जोड़ा माधव नेशनल पार्क में छोड़ेंगे। चंबल रेंज में पर्यटकों की संख्या में वृद्धि से स्थानीय युवाओं को रोजगार-स्वरोजगार के अवसर मिलेंगे। एशिया में पहली बार चीते भी चंबल के कूनो नेशनल पार्क में दिखाई दे रहे हैं। चंबल नदी क्षेत्र में घड़ियाल एवं डॉल्फिन प्रोजेक्ट पर भी कार्य चल रहा है।
मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. यादव ने बुधवार को मीडिया को जारी संदेश में कहा कि देश में सबसे ज्यादा टाइगर मध्यप्रदेश में हैं, जिन्हें देखने के लिए बड़ी संख्या में पर्यटक मध्यप्रदेश आते हैं। बाघ संरक्षित क्षेत्र में जंगल सफारी का आनंद लेने के लिए सभी नेशनल पार्कों में सीजन भर पर्यटकों का आवागमन रहता है।
मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. यादव ने प्रदेश में बाघों की संख्या और उनके संरक्षण से प्राप्त उपलब्धियों पर प्रसन्नता व्यक्त करते हुए वन विभाग के अधिकारियों-कर्मचारियों सहित प्रदेशवासियों को बधाई दी।
