The 42nd National Rowing Championship will be held from 3 March on Bhopal’s Upper Lake. Madhya Pradesh Cooperation, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang held a meeting with senior officials of the Sports and Youth Welfare Department and reviewed the preparations. He directed that special attention should be paid to the accommodation, food, security and other facilities of the players and coaches.
The live telecast of the competition will be done through LED screens at the main intersections of the city including the Boat Club, so that more and more sports lovers can enjoy the exciting matches.
Sarang informed that the 42nd National Rowing Championship is going to be organized from 3 March to 7 March at Madhya Pradesh State Water Sports Academy, Boat Club located at Upper Lake. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will inaugurate the competition on 3 March.
On the occasion of the inauguration of the competition, the players of Madhya Pradesh State Water Sports Academy will give a special presentation of rowing, kayaking-canoeing, sailing and slalom sports. On this occasion, sports lovers will get to see a wonderful view of water sports.
Sarang said that about 500 participants from 25 states will participate in the championship. There will be a total of 14 events of rowing. This championship will provide an opportunity to the top rowers of the country to showcase their talent.
Various competitions will be organized under Senior Men, Senior Women and Para Rowing events in the 42nd National Rowing Championship. All the competitions will be held at a distance of 2000 meters.
42वीं नेशनल रोइंग चैंपियनशिप : भोपाल के बड़े तालाब पर होगा 25 राज्यों की रोइंग टीमों का महामुकाबला
42वीं राष्ट्रीय रोइंग चैंपियनशिप 3 मार्च से भोपाल के बड़े तालाब पर आयोजित की जाएगी। मध्य प्रदेश के सहकारिता, खेल एवं युवा कल्याण मंत्री विश्वास कैलाश सारंग ने खेल एवं युवा कल्याण विभाग के वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों के साथ बैठक कर तैयारियों की समीक्षा की। उन्होंने निर्देश दिए कि खिलाड़ियों और प्रशिक्षकों के आवास, भोजन, सुरक्षा एवं अन्य सुविधाओं पर विशेष ध्यान दिया जाए।
25 राज्यों के 500 खिलाड़ी होंगे शामिल
मंत्री श्री सारंग ने बताया कि बड़े तालाब स्थित मध्यप्रदेश राज्य वॉटर स्पोर्ट्स अकादमी, बोट क्लब पर 3 मार्च से 7 मार्च तक 42वीं नेशनल रोइंग चैंपियनशिप का आयोजन होने जा रहा है। मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. मोहन यादव 3 मार्च को प्रतियोगिता का शुभारंभ करेंगे। प्रतियोगिता के उद्घाटन अवसर पर मध्यप्रदेश राज्य वॉटर स्पोर्ट्स अकादमी के खिलाड़ी रोइंग, क्याकिंग-केनोइंग, सेलिंग और स्लालम खेलों की विशेष प्रस्तुति देंगे। इस अवसर पर खेल प्रेमियों को जल क्रीड़ा का अद्भुत नज़ारा देखने को मिलेगा। मंत्री श्री सारंग ने कहा कि चैंपियनशिप में 25 राज्यों से लगभग 500 प्रतिभागी भाग लेंगे। जिसमें रोइंग के कुल 14 इवेंट होंगे। यह चैंपियनशिप देश के शीर्ष रोवर्स को अपनी प्रतिभा दिखाने का अवसर प्रदान करेगी।
इन कैटेगरी में होगी प्रतियोगिताएं
42वीं नेशनल रोइंग चैंपियनशिप में सीनियर पुरूष, सीनियर महिला और पैरा रोइंग स्पर्धाओं के अंतर्गत विभिन्न प्रतिस्पर्धाएँ आयोजित की जाएँगी। सभी स्पर्धाएं 2000 मीटर की दूरी पर आयोजित की जाएँगी। सीनियर मेन्स वर्ग में सिंगल स्कल्स (M1X), डबल स्कल्स (M2X), कॉक्सलेस पेयर्स (M2-), कॉक्सलेस फोर्स (M4-), लाइटवेट मेन डबल स्कल्स (LM2X), ओपन डबल स्कल्स (M2X – सिविलियन), कॉक्सलेस फोर्स (M4- – सिविलियन), क्वाड्रपल स्कल्स (M4X) और कॉक्स्ड ईट्स (M8+) शामिल हैं।
सीनियर महिला वर्ग में सिंगल स्कल्स (W1X), डबल स्कल्स (W2X), कॉक्सलेस पेयर्स (W2-), कॉक्सलेस फोर्स (W4-), लाइटवेट वुमन डबल स्कल्स (LW2X), क्वाड्रपल स्कल्स (W4X) और कॉक्स्ड ईट्स (W8+) की स्पर्धाएं होंगी। पैरा रोइंग स्पर्धाओं में पैरा मेन सिंगल स्कल (PR3M1X) और पैरा वुमन सिंगल स्कल (PR3W1X) प्रतियोगिताएँ होंगी।
