Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter Aaradhya Bachchan has once again knocked the door of Delhi High Court. In fact, in 2023, Aaradhya had accused YouTube and Google of circulating fake news related to her health. She had demanded a ban on the circulation of such news.
At that time the Delhi High Court reprimanded Google and directed it to remove all the fake news. Now Aaradhya has alleged in a new petition that appropriate action has not been taken in this matter yet. Fake news is still available on some sites. Taking action, the Delhi High Court has issued a notice to Google. The next hearing of the case will be on March 17.
According to Aaradhya’s petition, despite the intervention of the High Court, misleading news related to her health is still present on the Internet. These have not been completely removed.
According to the old petition, in 2023, some YouTube channels ran false news about Aaradhya. It was told that Aaradhya is very ill. Even the wrong news of her death was run.
Aaradhya is 13 years old. She studies in Dhirubhai Ambani School, Mumbai.
The Bachchan family had taken this matter very seriously. Aaradhya approached the Delhi High Court through her father Abhishek Bachchan in 2023. The court also took the matter seriously.
At that time, Justice C Hari Shankar, who was looking into the case, had expressed his objection and said – Every child has the right to respect, whether he is the child of a celebrity or a common man. The law will not tolerate the dissemination of wrong information about children, especially in relation to physical and mental health. Such fake news should not be shared in future as well.
Aaradhya is often seen in public events with her mother Aishwarya.
