Madhya Pradesh CM Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated Sarsi Island located in Ban Sagar Dam in Shahdol.
Sarsi Island will soon be linked with Bandhavgarh and Sanjay National Park to give a filip tourism.
The inauguration aims to promote water tourism in the region, providing visitors with a unique travel experience.

Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the tourism of our state is full of diversity. Sarsi Island in Rewanchal gives the feeling of Goa and Andaman Nicobar. Our state attracts people from all over the world.
Dr. Yadav was addressing the inauguration ceremony of Sarsi Island located in Ban Sagar Dam in Shahdol district on Saturday.
CM Dr. Yadav said that to promote tourism of Sarsi Island, it will be connected to Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve and Sanjay National Park. Water tourism will also be promoted in Ban Sagar Dam.
Sarsi Island Resort has been developed under the Eco-Circuit Project. It will be a special attraction for nature lovers and adventure lovers. There are many facilities for tourists here. Three modern boat clubs have been built for water sports. 10 eco-friendly huts have been developed for stay, from where the natural beauty of the surroundings can be enjoyed.
A charming restaurant has been built for food lovers at Sarsi Island Resort. A high-tech conference room has been prepared amidst nature for corporate events and meetings. Keeping in mind the fitness and entertainment of the tourists, a gym, library and play area for children have been prepared.
The construction of this resort is set to boost tourism in Shahdol and its surrounding areas. Nestled amidst water and lush greenery, the resort offers a range of facilities, adventure activities, comfort, and entertainment options. It caters to all guests, providing spaces for corporate events as well as leisure holidays.
CM Dr. Yadav met child artist (singer) of Vindhya region Manya Pandey and enquired about her well-being. He also announced a reward of Rs 51 thousand to Manya. CM also announced a reward of Rs 5 thousand to each member of the music troupes.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inspected the boat club in Sarsi Island and also did boating. Winners of the boating competition organized by Tourism Development Corporation were awarded.
