The Rajbhasha Digant Award was recently presented to the National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR) Bhopal for its Hindi magazine, Sampark Sarita. The award, given by the Bhartiya Bhasha Evam Sanskriti Kendra, New Delhi, recognizes excellence in the development and promotion of the Hindi language. The award ceremony took place under the guidance of the Chief Secretary of Andaman and Nicobar, Keshav Chandra, who presented the award to NITTTR representatives.

The Institute’s Director, Prof. C.C. Tripathi, along with Rajbhasha Coordinator Dr. P.K. Purohit, received the award on behalf of the Institute. Reflecting on the achievement, Prof. Tripathi expressed his pride, emphasizing the significance of the award for the Institute. “This award is a proud moment for us. The magazine of any institute reflects its activities and plays an important role in building its image,” he remarked.
Prof. Tripathi further highlighted the magazine’s impactful role over the years, stating, “For the last 25 years, Sampark Sarita has led in promoting Hindi within educational and technical fields. It is a symbol of our commitment to the Hindi language, and we intend to continue this mission in the future.” The Institute, he noted, remains dedicated to promoting Rajbhasha Hindi and upholding the responsibility of its effective implementation.

Dr. P.K. Purohit, the editor of Sampark Sarita, shared insights on the magazine’s journey since its inception in 1999. The quarterly magazine has reached its 25-year milestone, gaining popularity among educational and technical institutions nationwide. Dr. Purohit added that this award further motivates the Institute to keep producing quality content in Hindi.
