NITTTR Bhopal is organizing Hindi Fortnight extensively. It is worth mentioning that the Hindi Fortnight has been formally inaugurated by the Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah on 14th September at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
In the same sequence, Hindi Fortnight will be celebrated at the NITTR till 30th September, under which various workshops and competitions are being organized which will be aimed at spreading awareness among the people about learning and speaking Hindi.
On this occasion, Director of NITTTR Bhopal and Chairman of Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC), Prof. C.C. Tripathi said in his message that Hindi is not only a language, but it is a medium of expression of our culture, identity and thoughts. Let us all together make Hindi a symbol of our culture and knowledge and preserve it for the coming generations.
On the inauguration of Hindi Fortnight, a Hindi workshop on “Application of Science” was organized, whose coordinator was Dr. P.K. Purohit. He said, “Science education in Hindi is necessary not only for the promotion of the language but also for developing scientific thinking.”
The objective of this workshop was to promote science study and teaching in Hindi language. After this, a Comic poetry competition was organized in the institute, for which Dr. Sangeeta Gundecha, Professor, Sanskrit University and Mrs. Vandana Tripathi were present as the judge. Prof. Hussain Jivakhan, Prof. Bashirullah Shaikh, TOLIC Secretary Sanjay Tripathi and Hindi translator Mrs. Babli Chaturvedi were present in today’s programme.
