18 and 19 September will be special days for Indore and Ujjain. Indore will host President Droupadi Murmu for two days.
President Murmu will arrive in Indore on Wednesday evening, 18 September. According to the proposed programme, she will reach Mriganayani on the first day on Wednesday and meet the artisans who have earned fame with their skills. President Murmu will stay overnight in Indore.
On the second day, Thursday, 19 September, President Murmu will leave for Ujjain in the morning and participate in the programme organised there. Murmu will also have a darshan at Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas.
Murmu will also interact with the Safai Mitras at the Ujjain Rudraksh Hotel premises and honour them. The President will perform the Bhoomi Pujan of Ujjain-Indore Six Lane in Ujjain itself, visit Shri Mahakal Lok and interact with the sculptors of the Mahakal Lok.
In the afternoon, Murmu will return to Indore and attend the convocation of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) Indore. After this, Murmu will leave Indore in the evening.
