Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh’s CM Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that along with favorable policies and environment for the development of industries in the state, there will also be welcome and felicitation at the administrative level. Investment proposals worth more than 8 thousand crores have been received in Gwalior Regional Industrial Conclave (RIC). This will provide new employment opportunities for more than 35 thousand people. On this occasion, CM Mohan Yadav performed Bhoomi Pujan and inauguration of 47 new industrial units in the state at a cost of Rs 1586 crore with a single click. This conclave is centered on the theme of heritage, history and industry.
Land allotment letters were also provided to 5 industrial units on the stage. Along with this, 8 district level Industry Facilitation Centers of Gwalior-Chambal district were inaugurated. These centers have started from today in Gwalior, Morena, Bhind, Sheopur, Shivpuri, Datia, Guna and Ashoknagar.

Representatives from Mexico, Zambia also participated in the conclave. CM said that a big hospital will also be opened in the private sector in Gwalior. CM said that the idea behind organizing the conclave is that industrialists should come and see the specialties of the state themselves and decide to set up industries in Madhya Pradesh. CM Dr. Yadav was addressing the Regional Industry Conclave in Gwalior today.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav along with other guests inaugurated this year’s third Regional Industry Conclave in Gwalior by lighting a lamp. He also, observed the exhibition focused on the possibilities of industrial development in the micro, small and medium enterprise sector.
4 new industrial parks will be opened in Gwalior-Chambal region
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced the opening of 4 new industrial parks in Gwalior-Chambal region. Industrial parks will be developed in Chainpura of Guna, Mohana of Gwalior district, Mawai of Morena and Gurwal of Shivpuri. Along with this, a police post will be established in industrial area Sitapur of Morena district and a fire station in industrial area Bamor.
Union Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said that CM Dr. Yadav has done the work of awakening the spirit of industry in Gwalior. Scindia said that it is not a ordinary achievement to get an investment of Rs 1 lakh 84 thousand crore in the state in a period of 6 months. Certainly, the picture of Gwalior-Chambal region will change with the arrival of new industries.
What did the industrialists say
Karan Adani of Adani Group said that this conclave in Gwalior will boost economic progress. New industries are coming in many areas under the leadership of the Chief Minister. Adani Group will start two new industrial units in the state at Guna and Shivpuri. Defence sector will be started in Shivpuri at a cost of Rs 2500 crore, cement grinding unit in Guna at a cost of Rs 500 crore and jacket manufacturing unit in Badarwas. Badarwas unit will provide employment to a large number of women. The jackets manufactured will go to every corner of the world.
Reliance Group Vice President Vivek Taneja said that the group is planning to invest in biogas and energy generation sector in Madhya Pradesh. Tropolite MD Puneet Dower informed about the investment proposal in the food processing sector. He also discussed his experiences in the industry sector of the last 50 years. Dower informed about the investment intention of Rs 100 crore which will provide employment to about 500 women.
There are 14 UNESCO heritage sites in state
Principal Secretary Tourism Sheo Shekhar Shukla gave a presentation on the possibilities of development in the tourism sector. It was told that there are 14 UNESCO heritage sites in the state, out of which 3 are in the permanent list. In the spiritual tourism sector, Narmadaji and other places, wildlife sanctuaries, national parks are centers of attraction for tourists. The state government is committed to the development of these places. About 20 major religious places are being developed. Kuno, Chanderi, Hanuwantiya, Mandu, Gandhisagar are being made important tourist centers. Tourism facilities are being continuously increased in Omkareshwar and Ujjain.
Principal Secretary Mineral Sanjay Shukla informed about the state’s status in the field of coal, limestone, copper and other minerals. He informed that annual coal production has increased from 119 million tons to 159 million tons since last year.
Principal Secretary Information Technology Sanjay Dubey informed in the presentation that Madhya Pradesh’s progress was 11 percent in the last decade, while the progress in the IT sector was 43 percent. In Madhya Pradesh, along with work, there are opportunities for development. The state has a favorable environment for data centers.
