As part of the programme, students and teachers installed thirteen nesting sites across the school campus. These small efforts aim to provide safe spaces for sparrows, which return each year to build their nests. By observing these tiny birds closely, students developed a deeper understanding of the urgent need to conserve them.

Under the able guidance of Sr. Ann Joicy, Principal, the school community actively participated in placing nests on trees within the campus. Students also spoke about the importance of sparrows in maintaining ecological balance.

The initiative highlighted the importance of co-existence with species like sparrows, emphasizing that their survival is closely linked to human well-being. Such conservation practices are expected to encourage sparrows to use these nesting sites for breeding and nurturing their young during the summer season.
