Narmadapuram is the first district of Madhya Pradesh, where all four types of silk are produced. Tussar silk, mulberry silk, eri silk and munga silk (golden silk) are produced in Narmadapuram. These four types of silk are prepared in the district and are famous all over the country.
Minister of State for Cottage and Village Industries (Independent Charge) Shri Dilip Jaiswal has said that there is a silk center in Narmadapuram, where silk threads and clothes are produced. Now preparations are being made to include new designs in the silk center apart from traditional designs. Malakhedi in the district has Madhya Pradesh’s first cocoon market, where a silk cocoon market is held.
Women of Narmadapuram district are empowering themselves by joining silk production. Madhai Silk Production Center is being developed for silk tourism. Medicines are also being made using silk thread.
Various activities will be organized to expand silk production in the district. Narmadapuram is an important center in the field of silk production and is also associated with various silk related activities and schemes.
Minister of State Shri Jaiswal said that special efforts are being made to increase the production of silk in Narmadapuram. Farmers of the district are being encouraged to produce silk, so that their income can be increased.
The district has a favorable climate and conditions for silk production. Farmers are being trained to rear silkworms and produce silk. Silk production will provide additional means of income to the farmers and improve the economic condition of the district.
Jaiswal said that the government is providing all possible assistance to the farmers to promote silk production. The farmers of the district will benefit from the increase in silk production in Narmadapuram.
नर्मदापुरम चारों प्रकार के रेशम उत्पादन वाला मध्यप्रदेश का पहला जिला, रेशम केंद्र में शामिल होंगे नए डिजाइन, सिल्क टूरिज्म को मिलेगा बढ़ावा
नर्मदापुरम, प्रदेश का पहला जिला है, जहां चारों प्रकार के रेशम का उत्पादन होता है। नर्मदापुरम में टसर रेशम, मलबरी रेशम, इरी रेशम और मूँगा रेशम (गोल्डन सिल्क) का उत्पादन किया जाता है। ये चारों प्रकार के रेशम जिले में तैयार किए जाते हैं और देशभर में प्रसिद्ध हैं।
नए डिजाइनों को शामिल करने की तैयारी
कुटीर एवं ग्रामोद्योग राज्यमंत्री (स्वतंत्र प्रभार) श्री दिलीप जायसवाल ने कहा है कि ने कहा कि नर्मदापुरम में रेशम केंद्र है, जहाँ रेशम के धागे और कपड़ों का उत्पादन किया जाता है। रेशम केंद्र में अब परंपरागत डिजाइनों से हटकर नए डिजाइनों को शामिल करने की तैयारी की जा रही है। जिले में मालाखेड़ी में मध्यप्रदेश की पहली ककून मंडी है, जहाँ रेशम के ककून का बाजार लगता है।
सिल्क टूरिज्म को मिलेगा बढ़ावा
नर्मदापुरम जिले की महिलाएं रेशम उत्पादन से जुड़कर अपना सशक्तिकरण कर रही हैं। मढ़ई रेशम उत्पादन केंद्र को सिल्क टूरिज्म के लिए विकसित किया जा रहा है। रेशम के धागे का उपयोग करके दवाइयां भी बनाई जा रही हैं। जिले में रेशम उत्पादन के विस्तार के लिए विभिन्न गतिविधियों का आयोजन किया जाएगा। नर्मदापुरम रेशम उत्पादन के क्षेत्र में एक महत्वपूर्ण केंद्र है और रेशम से संबंधित विभिन्न गतिविधियों और योजनाओं के साथ भी जुड़ा हुआ है।
राज्यमंत्री श्री जायसवाल ने कहा कि नर्मदापुरम में रेशम का उत्पादन बढ़ाने के लिए विशेष प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं। जिले के किसानों को रेशम उत्पादन के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया जा रहा है, जिससे उनकी आय में वृद्धि हो सके।
रेशम उत्पादन के लिए जिले में अनुकूल जलवायु और परिस्थितियाँ हैं। किसानों को रेशम के कीड़ों का पालन करने और रेशम उत्पादन के लिए प्रशिक्षण दिया जा रहा है। रेशम उत्पादन से किसानों को अतिरिक्त आय का साधन मिलेगा और जिले की आर्थिक स्थिति में सुधार होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार रेशम उत्पादन को बढ़ावा देने के लिए किसानों को हरसंभव सहायता प्रदान कर रही है। नर्मदापुरम में रेशम उत्पादन के बढ़ने से जिले के किसानों को लाभ होगा।
