Actress Sadia Khateeb, who was seen with John Abraham in the film ‘The Diplomat‘, recently shared her experience of working with John Abraham. Sadia said, ‘John is very disciplined, but also a very chill and fun person. Sometimes he would look at my plate of food and say, ‘This has a lot of calories.’ But I am a foodie and can never compromise on food. Many times I used to wish that John also ate what I eat.’
Talking about her fitness, Sadia says, ‘Earlier, my weight had increased a bit, so I started working out. I hired a trainer and that poor guy used to call me everyday and say – ‘Sister, your film is about to release.’ For two months, I paid full attention to fitness.
Sadia says she take care of the basic things – I don’t eat sugar, I use rock salt in salt and the food at home is cooked in less oil. But I don’t torture myself, if I get good food outside, then I eat it happily.’
Sadia says that her personality has always been strong and somewhere she resembles her character Uzma Ahmed from her film ‘The Diplomat’. She shared a funny incident from her childhood, ‘I was sitting on the stairs and Mumma was busy with some work downstairs. Mummy called me to come down herself. But I insisted that, no, you come up and take me.’
Mumma thought that I was being very stubborn, so she left me there. I sat there from 12 in the morning to 5 in the evening, did not come down. Finally, Mummy herself came up and took me down in her lap.
Today when I think, it seems that my personality has been like this since childhood. Whatever I have decided, I will not rest until I have done it.’
On future planning, Sadia says, ‘Now that I have done a role like ‘The Diplomat’, I was thinking that I can do anything, but no, for me quality matters more.
Sadia says, ‘I may have made a mistake by leaving some projects, but I did the right thing, because for me quality is more important than quantity. Now I will do small roles too, but the condition is that I should like them.’
