Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh School Education Department is conducting bridge courses to improve the level of study and efficiency of students taking admission in class 9 in government schools in the state.
For this, 9 thousand 312 resource persons of Hindi, English and Mathematics subjects have been trained. Their training has been completed in the month of February at Walmi Institute in Bhopal.
There are 4 thousand 200 high schools and 4 thousand 100 higher secondary government schools in the state. Now the arrangement to train one teacher each of Hindi, English and Mathematics in these schools has been started from the month of March.
About 27 thousand teachers are being trained in bridge courses in the state. Through bridge courses, government schools will be helped in reducing the drop-out rate.
The trained teachers will conduct the bridge courses in the month of April and from 16 June to 20 July. The bridge course will be conducted in all government high and higher secondary schools. Apart from these 3 subjects, these children will also be taught Science and Sanskrit subjects.
The Directorate of Public Instruction has also prepared the timetable of the bridge course to be held in the school.
During the bridge course itself, the baseline test of these students will be taken in English, Mathematics and Hindi on 5 and 12 April. The baseline test papers will be uploaded on the “Vimarsh” portal of the School Education Department on 31 March. Instructions have been given to the District Education Officers in this regard.
Separate arrangements have been made for the students who will not be able to give the test on the scheduled dates due to some reason. Arrangements have been made for the evaluation of the answer sheets of the baseline test by the concerned teachers on the same day. Bridge courses in English, Hindi and Mathematics have been arranged for the students with low proficiency in the baseline test.
After completion of bridge course in government high and higher secondary schools, arrangements are being made for endline test to check the quality of students after 20th July. This test will be held between 21st and 25th July. In this regard, Directorate of Public Education has given instructions to all government schools.
Regular monitoring will be done by state, division and district level officials at 3 levels for monitoring the bridge course. District Education Officer has been asked to monitor at least 10 schools per month. District Project Coordinator and Block Education Officer will assist him in this task.
During the operation of bridge course, district level officials will randomly call the answer sheets of at least 10 percent students at the district level and re-evaluate them. Continuous efforts will be made throughout the year at Directorate of Public Education level to improve the efficiency of these children.

प्रदेश में सरकारी स्कूलों में कक्षा 9वीं में प्रवेश लेने वाले विद्यार्थियों में अध्ययन के स्तर और दक्षता को सुधारने के लिये स्कूल शिक्षा विभाग ब्रिज कोर्स का संचालन कर रहा है। इसके लिये हिन्दी, अंग्रेजी एवं गणित विषय के 9 हजार 312 रिसोर्सपर्सन तैयार किये गये हैं। इनका प्रशिक्षण भोपाल के वाल्मी संस्थान में फरवरी माह में कराया जा चुका है।
प्रदेश में 4 हजार 200 हाई स्कूल और 4 हजार 100 हायर सेकेण्डरी सरकारी स्कूल हैं। अब इन स्कूलों में हिन्दी, अंग्रेजी एवं गणित के एक-एक शिक्षक को प्रशिक्षण देने की व्यव्स्था मार्च माह से शुरू कर दी गई है। प्रदेश में लगभग 27 हजार शिक्षकों को ब्रिज कोर्स का प्रशिक्षण दिया जा रहा है। ब्रिज कोर्स के माध्यम से सरकारी स्कूलों को ड्रॉप-आउट दर को कम करने में मदद मिलेगी।
ब्रिज कोर्स
प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त शिक्षक अप्रैल माह में और 16 जून से 20 जुलाई तक ब्रिज कोर्स का संचालन करेंगे। ब्रिज कोर्स का संचालन सभी सरकारी हाई और हायर सेकण्डरी स्कूलों में होगा। इसके साथ ही इन 3 विषयों के अलावा विज्ञान एवं संस्कृत विषय की पढ़ाई भी इन बच्चों को कराई जायेगी। लोक शिक्षण संचालनालय ने स्कूल में लगने वाली ब्रिज कोर्स की समय-सारणी भी तैयार की है।
बेसलाइन टेस्ट
ब्रिज कोर्स के दौरान ही 5 और 12 अप्रैल को इन विद्यार्थियों का बेस लाइन टेस्ट अंग्रेजी, गणित और हिन्दी में लिया जायेगा। बेस लाइन टेस्ट पेपर 31 मार्च को स्कूल शिक्षा विभाग के “विमर्श” पोर्टल पर अपलोड कर दिये जायेंगे। इस संबंध में जिला शिक्षा अधिकारियों को निर्देश दे दिये गये हैं। तय तिथियों में जो विद्यार्थी किन्ही वजह से टेस्ट नहीं दे पायेंगे, उनके लिये अलग व्यवस्था की गई है।
बेस लाइन टेस्ट की उत्तर पुस्तिकाओं के मूल्यांकन संबंधित शिक्षकों द्वारा उसी दिन किये जाने की व्यवस्था की गई है। बेस लाइन टेस्ट में कम दक्षता वाले विद्यार्थियों के लिये अंग्रेजी, हिन्दी और गणित विषय के ब्रिज कोर्स की व्यवस्था की गई है।
एंडलाइन टेस्ट
सरकारी हाई और हायर सेकेण्डरी स्कूलों में ब्रिज कोर्स की समाप्ति पर 20 जुलाई के बाद विद्यार्थियों की गुणवत्ता जांचने के लिये एंडलाइन टेस्ट की भी व्यवस्था की जा रही है। यह टेस्ट 21 से 25 जुलाई के बीच होगा। इस संबंध में लोक शिक्षण संचालनालय ने सभी सरकारी स्कूलों को निर्देश दिये हैं।
ब्रिज कोर्स की मॉनिटरिंग के लिये 3 स्तर पर राज्य, संभाग और जिला स्तर के अधिकारियों द्वारा नियमित मॉनिटरिंग की जायेगी। जिला शिक्षा अधिकारी को प्रति माह कम से कम 10 विद्यालयों में मॉनिटरिंग किये जाने के लिये कहा गया है। उनके इस कार्य में जिला परियोजना समन्वयक और विकासखंड शिक्षा अधिकारी मदद करेंगे।
ब्रिज कोर्स संचालन के दौरान जिला स्तर के अधिकारी रेन्डमली कम से कम 10 प्रतिशत विद्यार्थियों की उत्तर पुस्तिकाएं जिला स्तर पर बुलाकर पुन: मूल्यांकन करेंगे। इन बच्चों की दक्षता सुधार के लिये लोक शिक्षा संचालनालय स्तर पर वर्ष भर सतत् प्रयास किये जायेंगे।
