NITTTR Bhopal recently organized Industry Academia Connect Seminar in collaboration with Siemens Center of Excellence.
Dean Corporate and International Relations of the Institute, Dr. PK Purohit in a media report stated that the objective of this seminar was to reduce the gap between academic knowledge and industry application.
This seminar will encourage innovation, research and skill development between industries and educational institutions.
The chief guest of the program was G.N Agarwal, Director, Skill Development, he praised NITTTR Bhopal and said that all the resources are available in NITTTR as per the requirement of the industries. This collaboration will create new opportunities in the field of technology development and research in the industry.
The Director of NITTTR Bhopal, Prof. CC Tripathi in his message said that we work on the principle of “Connect, Collaborate and Create”. NITTTR Bhopal has always worked towards building a bridge between education and industry.
Director-in-charge, Dr. R.K. Dixit said that with this collaboration, the Institute and industries will work on the present and future challenges of the country, joint research and various cooperation models such as consultancy, internship and training programs, which will prove beneficial for both sides.
The representatives from the industry visited various hi-tech labs of the Institute’s Siemens Center of Excellence. The program coordinator Dr. Manish Bhargava gave a detailed description of the agenda of the seminar and said that NITTTR Bhopal is ready to cooperate with the industries.
The vote of thanks was given by co-coordinator Dr. Seema Verma. Abhijeet Kulkarni, 3D Technology, Country Head, eminent academic experts, industry professionals, PhD students, faculty members and officers and employees were present in this program.
