
The BSSS Institute of Advanced Studies (BSSS IAS) inaugurated its two-day International Conference on “Transformational Management Practices for Global Resilience” on April 25. The event is being held in hybrid mode and brings together academicians, researchers, and professionals from across India and abroad. The keynote address was delivered by Prof. Dr Tomaž Grušovnik, Dean, Department of Education and Dean, International Cooperation, University of Primorska, Slovenia.
The conference was graced by Brigadier Rajneesh Singh Gaur as the Chief Guest and Ms Egorova Svetlana, esteemed faculty from Synergy University, Moscow, Russia, as the Guest of Honour. Brigadier Rajneesh Singh Gaur appreciated the institution for selecting a timely and relevant theme. Reflecting on the last 80 years of human history, he remarked that these are among the best times. He urged the audience to take pride in our heritage and break free from the lingering colonial cloak.
Prof. Dr Tomaž Grušovnik urged the audience to embrace resilience through sustainable efforts. He emphasised that educational institutions are the true torchbearers of sustainability. He noted that international conferences like this create a platform for genuine global dialogue and cooperation. He expressed hope that such interactions foster meaningful interdependence and uphold the true spirit of globalisation.
The inaugural session witnessed active online and offline participation from paper presenters representing 15 different states across India and academic delegates from five countries, reflecting the global reach and relevance of the conference.
Dr John P. J., Executive Director of BSSS IAS, extended a warm welcome to the dignitaries, while Prof. Dr Amit Kumar Nag, Convener of the Conference, highlighted the importance and timeliness of the conference theme, emphasising the need for resilient and innovative management practices in today’s rapidly changing global environment.
Dr. Father John Thomas expressed gratitude to all. The conference will continue on April 26 with multiple parallel tracks covering topics such as digital transformation, sustainable development, financial innovation, and workforce upskilling.
