
Indore: Prestige Institute of Management and Research (PIMR), Indore, is set to provide a global platform for art, cinema, and young talent. With the Prestige Indore International Film Festival 2025 (April 21-22) and Manthan 2025 (April 24-26), PIMR is presenting a unique blend of creativity, education, and entertainment, further establishing Indore as a cultural hub.
The film festival, themed “Kalachitra – Where Art Meets Cinema,” includes a 48-hour short film-making competition with 20 teams from across India.
Industry veterans such as Anulata Raj Nair, Chitransh Raj, Ashok Pathak, Chandan Roy, Vijay Vikram Singh, and Manav Gohil will participate in masterclasses and interactive sessions. The festival will start on April 21 with an open-air theater and conclude on April 22 with the launch of the Prestige Photography Club, where artists like Vijay Vikram Singh and Manav Gohil will be felicitated.
Manthan 2025 which is scheduled from April 24, is a grand stage for creativity and competition, featuring 880 participants—210 institutional, 320 local, 338 national, and 12 international—in 17 diverse events.
These include Kalakriti (art), Aalap (singing), Taal se Taal Mila (dance), Bollytrivia (quiz), Brandevour (brand management), Reelathon (reel making), and Dalal Street (virtual stock market). A prize pool of ₹1 lakh will be distributed as cash, gift vouchers, trophies, and medals. The event will commence on April 23 with the ‘Paridhaan’ fashion show, celebrating India’s cultural diversity. The cultural evening will feature dance and fashion performances depicting the journey from ‘Old India’ to ‘New India,’ reflecting the nation’s social, cultural, and economic progress.
Dr. S.S. Bhakar, Group Director, PIMR, said, that noted singer and musician Umer Ahmed, who is an outstanding alumni of Prestige and Star Performer, will be the chief guest of the inaugural ceremony of Manthan 2025. Manthan Head Dr Prof Prayatna Jain gave information on Manthan fest.
