A hands-on Drone Workshop was successfully conducted for the students of Classes 9 and 10 on 5th April’25, at Carmel Convent Sr. Sec. School, Gwalior. The workshop aimed at introducing them to the exciting world of drone technology. The session was organized as part of school’s continued efforts to encourage practical learning and expose students to emerging technologies.
The workshop began with an interactive session where students were introduced to the basics of drone technology, including the types of drones, their components, and real-world applications in fields like agriculture, defense, photography, and disaster management. This was followed by a live demonstration where students witnessed how drones are assembled, calibrated, and flown.
The workshop was conducted by Mr. Falit Goyal TGT-Physics and Innovation Incharge under the guidance of Principal Rev. Sr. Ramya. Coordinators Mrs. Usha Singh, Mrs. Indrani Mukherjee, Mrs Mridu Dasgupta, Mr MPS Tomar along with science department attended the workshop.
One of the highlights of the workshop was the hands-on experience where students got the opportunity to operate drones under expert supervision. They were guided through the basic flight maneuvers and control systems, sparking a great deal of curiosity and enthusiasm.
20 students received their own drones for better learning experience and a kickstarter to their drone-pilot journey.
The session not only enhanced their understanding of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) concepts but also inspired many to explore careers in robotics and aeronautics. The session concluded with a Q&A session, where students actively engaged with the resource persons and clarified their doubts.
Overall, the drone workshop was a fun, educational, and enriching experience that left students inspired and eager to learn more about the technologies shaping our future.
कार्मेल कॉन्वेंट स्कूल ग्वालियर के छात्र-छात्राओं ने उड़ाए ड्रोन, ड्रोन तकनीक की रोमांचक दुनिया से हुए परिचित
हाल ही में ग्वालियर के कार्मेल कॉन्वेंट सीनियर सेकेंडरी स्कूल में कक्षा 9 और 10 के विद्यार्थियों के लिए ड्रो\न पर कार्यशाला का सफलतापूर्वक आयोजन किया गया। कार्यशाला का उद्देश्य उन्हें ड्रोन तकनीक की रोमांचक दुनिया से परिचित कराना था। इस सत्र का आयोजन व्यावहारिक शिक्षा को प्रोत्साहित करने और विद्यार्थियों को उभरती हुई तकनीकों से परिचित कराने के लिए किया गया था।
कार्यशाला की शुरुआत एक संवादात्मक सत्र से हुई, जिसमें विद्यार्थियों को ड्रोन तकनीक की मूल बातें बताई गईं, जिसमें ड्रोन के प्रकार, उनके घटक और कृषि, रक्षा, फोटोग्राफी और आपदा प्रबंधन जैसे क्षेत्रों में उनके उपयोग शामिल थे। इसके बाद एक लाइव प्रदर्शन हुआ, जिसमें विद्यार्थियों ने देखा कि ड्रोन को कैसे असेंबल, कैलिब्रेट और उड़ाया जाता है।
कार्यशाला का संचालन श्री फलित गोयल टीजीटी-भौतिकी और नवाचार प्रभारी ने प्रिंसिपल रेवरेंड सीनियर राम्या के मार्गदर्शन में किया। कार्यशाला में समन्वयक श्रीमती उषा सिंह, श्रीमती इंद्राणी मुखर्जी, श्रीमती मृदु दासगुप्ता, श्री एमपीएस तोमर और विज्ञान विभाग के लोग शामिल हुए।
कार्यशाला की एक प्रमुख विशेषता व्यावहारिक ज्ञान प्रदान करना था। विद्यार्थियों को विशेषज्ञ पर्यवेक्षण के साथ ड्रोन संचालित करने का मौका मिला। विशेषज्ञों ने उन्हें बुनियादी उड़ान संचालन और नियंत्रण प्रणालियों के बारे में जानकारी दी, प्रतिभागियों में काफी उत्सुकता देखने को मिला।
20 छात्रों को बेहतर सीखने के अनुभव और ड्रोन-पायलट यात्रा के लिए एक किकस्टार्टर के रूप में अपने स्वयं के ड्रोन मिले।
सत्र ने न केवल STEM (विज्ञान, प्रौद्योगिकी, इंजीनियरिंग और गणित) अवधारणाओं की उनकी समझ को बढ़ाया, बल्कि कई छात्रों को रोबोटिक्स और एयरोनॉटिक्स में करियर तलाशने के लिए भी प्रेरित किया। सत्र का समापन एक प्रश्नोत्तर सत्र के साथ हुआ, जहाँ छात्रों ने संसाधन व्यक्तियों के साथ सक्रिय रूप से बातचीत की और अपनी शंकाओं को स्पष्ट किया।
कुल मिलाकर, ड्रोन कार्यशाला एक मजेदार, शैक्षिक और समृद्ध अनुभव था जिसने छात्रों को हमारे भविष्य को आकार देने वाली तकनीकों के बारे में अधिक जानने के लिए प्रेरित और उत्सुक किया।
