National Science Day: NITTTR Bhopal took an innovative initiative on National Science Day 3 years ago and created a permanent gallery by compiling the lives of the country’s leading ancient and modern Indian scientists and mathematicians and the important research work done by them.
Many of today’s research is based on the research and inventions of these ancient scientists. Throughout the year, teachers and students from different states come to NITTTR and take inspiration from this gallery.
NITTTR Director Dr. C.C. Tripathi said in his message that our youth should become the carriers of their science heritage. Science Day 2025 is being celebrated with the theme ‘Empowering Indian youth for global leadership in science and innovation for developed India’. Our country has been rich in science and innovation since ancient times. This day is celebrated to honor the great contribution of Indian scientists and their work. In particular, this day is remembered for the discovery of the Raman Effect by Dr. C.V. Raman.
On this occasion, NITTTR Bhopal’s Dean Sciences Prof. P K Purohit discussed the need to spread the Indian knowledge tradition to the students and the work being done on it. He said that our institute is trying to connect the Indian cultural and educational heritage with modern education. On this occasion, Dr. Hussain Jeevakhan, Dr. Bashirullah Shaikh, Dr. Izhar Ahmed and other officials, employees and students of the institute were also present.
