Dhanashree’s lawyer, Aditi Mohan, said, “The matter is currently in court; the divorce has not been finalized. The media should conduct a fact check before reporting. Many inaccuracies are being spread about both parties.”
Dhanashree’s family expressed their disappointment over the false reports regarding alimony, stating, “We have not asked for any kind of money from Chahal, nor has he offered anything upfront. The news that we demanded Rs 60 crore is incorrect. We request the media not to spread such information.”
The lawyer also revealed that the couple had been living separately for the last 18 months before making the final decision. Rumors about Chahal and Dhanashree’s divorce have circulated on social media for some time; however, an official statement from either Chahal or Dhanashree has yet to be released.
