An Essay Writing Competition was organized at Guru Nanak Public HS Co-Ed School, Bhopal, by the joint association of Dainik Bhaskar and Mutual Funds. The competition centered around the thought-provoking theme, “The Importance of Financial Literacy for Viksit Bharat.”
The primary objective of this competition was to enhance students’ awareness of financial literacy and its crucial role in shaping a progressive and self-reliant India. It aimed to encourage young minds to think critically about financial management, savings, and investment strategies essential for a developed nation.
Students from Class 9 and Class 11 enthusiastically participated in the competition, showcasing their writing prowess, analytical skills, and depth of understanding on the subject. Their essays reflected insightful perspectives on how financial literacy can empower individuals and contribute to the nation’s economic growth.
Dr. Neha Gupta, Principal, GNPS, emphasized the significance of such competitions in nurturing students’ intellectual and creative abilities. She stated, “Events like these not only enhance students’ writing skills but also instill in them a deeper understanding of financial responsibility, which is a key aspect of nation-building.”
