Union Minister of State for Health, Prataprao Jadhav has given important information about the cancer vaccine. He informed that a new vaccine for cancer in women will be available in the next five to six months. This vaccine will be given to girls aged 9 to 16 years. Cancer cases are increasing continuously in the country, and the government is taking active steps to deal with this problem.
Screening will be arranged in hospitals for women above 30 years of age, so that cancer can be detected early. Along with this, day care cancer centers will also be built for the treatment of cancer. Customs duty has also been removed on medicines used in the treatment of cancer.
Giving this information on Tuesday, Union Minister Prataprao Jadhav said that a vaccine for the treatment of cancer in women will be available in five to six months. Girls aged 9 to 16 years will be able to take advantage of this vaccine.
The Union AYUSH Minister informed that the research work on this vaccine is almost complete and now tests are going on. He also said that there is an increase in cancer cases in the country and the central government has taken necessary steps to resolve this problem.
The Union Minister said that the government has removed the customs duty imposed on medicines used in the treatment of cancer. Apart from this, women above 30 years of age will be regularly examined in hospitals and ‘Day Care Cancer Centers’ will be set up for early detection of cancer. When asked what type of cancer this vaccine will prevent, Jadhav said that it will help control breast, oral and cervical cancer.
केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य राज्य मंत्री प्रतापराव जाधव ने कैंसर के टीके को लेकर अहम जानकारी दी है। उन्होंने बताया कि महिलाओं में कैंसर के लिए एक नया टीका अगले पांच से छह महीने में उपलब्ध हो जाएगा।
यह टीका 9 से 16 साल की लड़कियों को दिया जाएगा। देश में कैंसर के मामले लगातार बढ़ रहे हैं और सरकार इस समस्या से निपटने के लिए सक्रिय कदम उठा रही है। 30 साल से अधिक उम्र की महिलाओं के लिए अस्पतालों में स्क्रीनिंग की व्यवस्था की जाएगी, ताकि कैंसर का जल्द पता लगाया जा सके।
इसके साथ ही कैंसर के इलाज के लिए डे केयर कैंसर सेंटर भी बनाए जाएंगे। कैंसर के इलाज में इस्तेमाल होने वाली दवाओं पर कस्टम ड्यूटी भी हटा दी गई है। यह जानकारी देते हुए केंद्रीय मंत्री प्रतापराव जाधव ने कहा कि महिलाओं में कैंसर के इलाज के लिए टीका पांच से छह महीने में उपलब्ध हो जाएगा।
इस टीके का लाभ 9 से 16 साल की लड़कियां ले सकेंगी। केंद्रीय आयुष मंत्री ने बताया कि इस टीके पर शोध कार्य लगभग पूरा हो चुका है और अब परीक्षण चल रहे हैं। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि देश में कैंसर के मामलों में वृद्धि हो रही है और केंद्र सरकार ने इस समस्या के समाधान के लिए आवश्यक कदम उठाए हैं।
केंद्रीय मंत्री ने कहा कि सरकार ने कैंसर के उपचार में इस्तेमाल होने वाली दवाओं पर लगने वाले सीमा शुल्क को हटा दिया है। इसके अलावा 30 वर्ष से अधिक उम्र की महिलाओं की अस्पतालों में नियमित जांच की जाएगी और कैंसर का जल्द पता लगाने के लिए ‘डे केयर कैंसर सेंटर’ स्थापित किए जाएंगे। यह पूछे जाने पर कि यह टीका किस प्रकार के कैंसर की रोकथाम करेगा, जाधव ने कहा कि इससे स्तन, मुंह और सर्वाइकल कैंसर को नियंत्रित करने में मदद मिलेगी।
