America has deported 116 more Indians living illegally. This time, all the men, except women and children, were handcuffed and landed at Amritsar airport in US Air Force plane Globemaster at 11.30 pm on Saturday.
They were made to meet their families at the airport. After about 5 hours of verification, everyone was dropped home in police vehicles. During this time, no one was allowed to talk to the media.
Earlier, on February 5, 104 immigrants were deported. Among them, men and women, except children, were brought in handcuffs and shackles. The third batch will arrive today (February 16) at 10 pm. There will be 157 immigrants in it.
Those forcibly sent back on Saturday include 65 from Punjab, 33 from Haryana, 8 from Gujarat, 2 each from Uttar Pradesh, Goa, Maharashtra and Rajasthan and 1 each from Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Most of them are between 18 and 30 years of age.
Regarding the previous batch, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann had raised questions that when the maximum number of people, 33 each, were from Haryana and Gujarat, why was the plane landed in Punjab instead of Ahmedabad or Ambala? However, in this batch, most Punjabis were sent back.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann had earlier reached Amritsar airport to receive them, but he returned due to delay in the arrival of the plane. After this, two ministers from the Punjab government, Kuldeep Dhaliwal and Harbhajan Singh, received the youth from Punjab.
During this, Minister Kuldeep Dhaliwal reached Amritsar airport at 1 am and said that he was very sad that the Haryana government sent a bus for carrying prisoners for its people deported from America. He told Haryana’s Transport Minister Anil Vij that Punjab has deployed good vehicles. Vij is the Transport Minister, he should have sent a good bus. No minister, MLA or BJP leader from Haryana came here.

इससे पहले 5 फरवरी को 104 अप्रवासियों को वापस भेजा गया था। इनमें बच्चों को छोड़कर पुरुष और महिलाओं को हथकड़ी और बेड़ियों में लाया गया था। तीसरा जत्था आज (16 फरवरी) रात 10 बजे पहुंचेगा। इसमें 157 अप्रवासी होंगे।
शनिवार को जबरन वापस भेजे गए लोगों में पंजाब के 65, हरियाणा के 33, गुजरात के 8, उत्तर प्रदेश, गोवा, महाराष्ट्र और राजस्थान के 2-2 और हिमाचल प्रदेश और जम्मू-कश्मीर के 1-1 प्रवासी शामिल हैं। इनमें से ज्यादातर की उम्र 18 से 30 साल के बीच है।
पिछले जत्थे को लेकर पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत मान ने सवाल उठाए थे कि जब सबसे ज्यादा 33-33 लोग हरियाणा और गुजरात से थे तो विमान को अहमदाबाद या अंबाला की बजाय पंजाब में क्यों उतारा गया? हालांकि इस जत्थे में सबसे ज्यादा पंजाबियों को वापस भेज दिया गया।
अमृतसर एयरपोर्ट से यह तस्वीर सामने आई है, जिसमें एक सिख युवक बिना पगड़ी के जा रहा है। हालांकि युवक ने पगड़ी क्यों नहीं पहनी थी, इसका कारण स्पष्ट नहीं हो पाया है। पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत मान पहले उन्हें रिसीव करने अमृतसर एयरपोर्ट पहुंचे थे, लेकिन विमान के आने में देरी होने के कारण वे वापस लौट गए।
इसके बाद पंजाब सरकार के दो मंत्रियों कुलदीप धालीवाल और हरभजन सिंह ने पंजाब के युवकों को रिसीव किया। इस दौरान मंत्री कुलदीप धालीवाल रात 1 बजे अमृतसर एयरपोर्ट पहुंचे और कहा कि उन्हें बहुत दुख है कि हरियाणा सरकार ने अमेरिका से डिपोर्ट किए गए अपने लोगों के लिए कैदियों को ले जाने के लिए बस भेजी।
उन्होंने हरियाणा के परिवहन मंत्री अनिल विज से कहा कि पंजाब ने अच्छी गाड़ियां लगाई हैं। विज परिवहन मंत्री हैं, उन्हें अच्छी बस भेजनी चाहिए थी। हरियाणा से कोई भी मंत्री, विधायक या भाजपा नेता यहां नहीं आया।
