NITTTR Bhopal has started an innovative initiative, which will instill a sense of responsibility towards the environment in children. All the children of the Institute family were given the opportunity to take care of trees with their name plates. They were told that the child whose name is written on the plant will now be responsible for its care.
As soon as the children saw name plates with their plants, happiness and enthusiasm of the feeling of mera naam mera ped (my name, my tree) was clearly visible on their faces. Every day these children will go to see and take care of their respective plants.
In his message, the Director of the Institute, Prof. C. C. Tripathi said that the purpose of such an initiative is to make children aware and responsible towards the environment along with bookish knowledge. This emotional bonding in children is possible only when they are given the opportunity to understand the importance of the environment.
A Veer Bal Udyan will also be developed in the campus. This garden will become a source of inspiration for children, where they will be able to understand the importance of sports, education and environmental protection together. Mrs. Vandana Tripathi, faculty, staff and their children were present on the occasion.
