The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) marked its 40th Foundation Day with grandeur and enthusiasm at the NIFT Bhopal campus. The celebrations were a testament to the institute’s legacy of excellence in fashion education, innovation, and creativity.
The event commenced with a divine Ganesh Vandana, a dance performance dedicated to Lord Ganesha, seeking blessings for the auspicious occasion. This was followed by a harmonious musical performance that resonated with the celebratory spirit of the day.
Speeches by esteemed dignitaries further elevated the event. Campus Academic Coordinator (CAC), Mr. Debojyoti Ganguly; Director, Lieutenant Colonel Ashish Agarwal; and Joint Director, Mr. Akhil Sahai, shared their insights on the institute’s remarkable journey over four decades and its vision for the future. Adding an element of engagement, a quiz competition themed around the institute’s achievements and milestones kept the audience captivated. The celebrations culminated in a vibrant dance performance, symbolizing the joyous occasion and leaving everyone spellbound.
An additional highlight of the event was the Logo Design Competition, held in honor of NIFT’s 40th Foundation Day. Students showcased their creativity and design prowess, with the winning logo reflecting the essence of NIFT’s journey over the years.
