Neeraj Chopra’s uncle Bhim told media that the wedding took place in the country and the couple has left for their honeymoon.
“Yes, the wedding took place in India two days ago. I cannot say where it happened,” Bhim told media from his village in Khandra near Panipat in Haryana. “The girl is from Sonipat and she is studying in the US. They have gone out of the country for their honeymoon and I don’t know where they are going. We wanted to keep it that way,” he said.
Neeraj Chopra has won many medals in javelin throw for India. He won the silver medal in Paris Olympics 2024 and the gold medal in Tokyo Olympics 2020. He also won the gold medal for India in Asian Games 2023. Apart from this, he brought laurels to the country by winning gold in World Athletics Championship 2023 and Commonwealth 2018.
