Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was attacked with a sharp weapon last night. Police said an unknown person entered Saif Ali Khan’s house. After this, there was a scuffle between Saif and this person. The actor got injured in this and is undergoing treatment. Investigation is going on.
A police officer said that the intruder attacked Saif Ali Khan with a knife. At present, he is out of danger. He said that a person broke into Saif Ali Khan’s house and first argued with his domestic help. However, when Saif Ali Khan tried to intervene, the intruder attacked him.
A thief broke into Saif Ali Khan and his wife Kareena Kapoor‘s house in Bandra at around 2.30 am late night. During this time Saif Ali Khan was at home with his family.
The report states that the thief fled from the spot and the police is searching for the attacker. Police said Saif Ali Khan has been admitted to Lilavati Hospital.

Dr. Neeraj Uttamni, COO of Lilavati Hospital, said, “Saif was attacked by an unknown person in his Bandra house. He was brought to Lilavati Hospital at around 3:30.”
“He has received injuries in six places, two of which are deep. One wound is near the spine. He is undergoing surgery. How deep this injury is, it will be known after the surgery.”
Kareena Kapoor’s PR agency has also told that there was an attempt of theft in her and Saif’s house last night. Saif has suffered an injury to his hand and is in hospital. The rest of the family is safe.
The statement said, “We request the media and fans to be patient and not speculate as the police are already investigating the matter. Thank you for your concern.”
The police are investigating all the angles. The Mumbai Police detained three people working in the Bollywood actor’s Bandra house in connection with the incident. It is still not known how the burglar entered Khan’s house. The cops are probing whether the accused was present inside the house.
Some media reports citing sources claimed that the burglar was known to the maid and the altercation broke out between them. Her role is also reportedly being investigated.
