
Indore: The annual festival organised at Government Ashtanga Ayurveda College Lokmanya Nagar Indore concluded on Friday. On this occasion, prize distribution and closing ceremony was organised. Oriental University Vice Chancellor Prof. Sunil Somani was the chief guest and senior physician Dr. R.K. Bajpai attended the closing ceremony as a special guest.
The programme started with the worship of Lord Dhanvantari. At the beginning of the programme, the annual report of the college was read by Principal Dr. Ajit Pal Singh Chauhan and information was given about the facilities of the college and hospital.
Student Union President Kanak Tanwar gave information about various competitions and winners and guests attending the programmes in the 15-day annual festival. The chief guest said that Ayurveda is benefiting the patients at the global level. The responsibility of the doctors has increased further now. He informed about signing an MoU with Oriental University and working in collaboration.
The special guest gave special suggestions on the upliftment of the college and hospital. At the end of the program, the vote of thanks was proposed by the organizing committee chairman Dr. Akhilesh Bhargava. Prizes and medals were given to the winners of various competitions in the program. Senior social workers and doctors of Indore city were present in the program.
