Rajasthan’s viral cricket girl Sushila Meena has been adopted by the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA). On Sunday, January 5, she was honored by the RCA and her adoption was announced.
On this occasion, State Industry and Commerce Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Parliamentary Affairs and Law Minister Jogaram Patel and Revenue Minister Hemant Meena, among others, were present. According to the RCA, it will bear the expenses of Sushila Meena’s further studies, living etc. and will also work on honing the girl’s cricket skills.
Sushila Meena is a resident of Ramer Talab village of Dhariawad in Pratapgarh district of Rajasthan and she is just 12 years old. A video of her bowling went viral on the Internet. Sachin Tendulkar also praised it. Soon Sushila Meena’s bowling became a topic of discussion across the country.
The special thing is that Sushila’s bowling action is exactly like India’s star bowler Zaheer Khan. People across the country have appreciated Sushila’s talent. Sushila’s parents are laborers, but their 12-year-old daughter has brought glory to the family, village and state with her talent.
Sushila Meena bowled to Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore. During this, she faced difficulties in playing shots. After this, Sushila also batted. During this, she was seen playing shots. Seeing such talent of the girl, the academy staff has also praised her.
RCA convener and Ganganagar MLA Jaideep Bihani told media, “We have made arrangements for Sushila Meena’s cricket training, education and accommodation in Jaipur. RCA will bear all the expenses.”
He said, “We have received information that Sushila has been admitted to a school in Udaipur. Wherever Sushila wants to stay in Jaipur or Udaipur, RCA will bear all the expenses. But, we want Sushila to stay in Jaipur and train and get education.”
Sushila told that she has been playing cricket since the age of 9. She told that she is currently studying in the fifth grade. Seeing the school children playing cricket, she also got the desire to play. Since then, she has been playing cricket for three years. Now she feels good when people praise her game. Now her goal is to play in the Indian cricket team.
