Actor Allu Arjun has thanked everyone including his fans and supporters after being released from Chanchalguda Central Jail on Saturday
He said, “I have full faith in the law. Thank you for your prayers and love.”
South Indian and Bollywood film actress and Arjun’s co-star in film Pushpa-2 Rashmika Mandanna has given her reaction on the arrest of Allu Arjun.
On the incident of Allu Arjun’s arrest, actress Rashmika Mandhana, who played the lead role with him in Pushpa Part One and Part Two, has written a post on the social media platform X.
Rashmika Mandanna wrote, “”I find it hard to comprehend what is happening at this moment. The incident that occurred is truly unfortunate and deeply saddening. It’s disheartening to see only one person (Allu) being held responsible for everything. This situation feels both unbelievable and heartbreaking.”
Allu Arjun was arrested by Hyderabad Police on Friday. Hyderabad police first reached Allu Arjun’s house and then took him to Chikkadpalli police station. Later the police told that he has been arrested.
However, shortly after Allu Arjun’s arrest, the Telangana High Court granted interim bail of four weeks to the actor.
Actor Vivek Oberoi has also shared his thoughts on the situation. He posted on social media, ‘Losing a life is tragic, and such incidents should never occur. However, is it fair to arrest Allu Arjun for what happened?’
He continued, ‘I want to pose a question to everyone. If a similar incident had taken place at a political leader’s election rally, would the police arrest that leader? Would they be held accountable for law and order, and would government representatives face the same treatment as Allu Arjun? Is this just?’
Oberoi acknowledged the police’s duty but questioned whether the system needs improvement to prevent such occurrences in the future.
Actor Raza Murad also commented in an interview with news agency ANI, stating, ‘What fault does the actor have in this? An actor cannot be held responsible for the management of the theater. If a stampede occurs, it is not the actor’s duty to control the crowd. If this is the reason for the arrest, it is beyond my comprehension.'”
Action in stampede incident
This action has been taken against actor Allu Arjun in the case of the death of a woman in a stampede incident at Sandhya Theater.
A screening of the film was held at Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad just a day before the release of Allu Arjun’s film ‘Pushpa 2’.
Allu Arjun’s team suddenly reached there and as soon as Allu reached the cinema, there was a stampede among the fans to see him.
A woman died there during this stampede. A complaint was filed in the name of many people including Allu Arjun in this regard.
Allu Arjun had recently approached the Telangana High Court in the case filed against him regarding the stampede incident at Sandhya Theater. He demanded the dismissal of the case filed against him.
In his petition, the actor had said that he had already informed about coming to the theater and he has nothing to do with the woman’s death.
