Sony SAB’s Shrimad Ramayan is the epic saga of Lord Ram (Sujay Reu) and Sita (Prachi Bansal). In recent episodes, viewers saw Luv (Shourya Mandoriya) and Kush (Atharva Sharma) save Sita from a demon sent by Shahastra Ravan (Praneet Bhatt) while she prayed at the Falgu River.
During this time, Luv and Kush meet King Janak (Jiten Lalwani), who presents them with a powerful arrow, which they use to defeat the demon and save Sita. However, King Janak doesn’t realize that they are his grandsons at the time.
In the upcoming episodes, King Janak returns to Mithila, pondering how two young boys he met at the ashram could be such skilled archers. Doubts begin to surface in his mind whether they could be Sita’s sons. Intrigued, he arranges an archery competition in Mithila and invites Luv and Kush, who seek Sita’s blessing before heading off for the event.
Meanwhile, Lord Ram decides not to marry again and plans to transfer the kingdom to Bharat (Nikhilesh Rathore) to enable him to perform the Ashvamedh Yagna with his wife. As Ram sets out to Mithila to invite King Janak for the Yagna, a crucial moment looms: will Lord Ram finally come face to face with his sons, who are still unaware that he is their father?
Sujay Reu, who plays the role of Ram in Shrimad Ramayan, said, “This is a pivotal moment in the story. There is a mix of emotions —curiosity, pride, and the lingering question of who these remarkable young men truly are? The possibility of Lord Ram encountering Luv and Kush adds to the tension. Will Lord Ram finally meet them? Will he realize who they are? The journey ahead is filled with anticipation. It’s a moment of destiny waiting to unfold.”
