Aadhar Card Free Update Deadline Extended: There is good news for Aadhar Card holders. Aadhar Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has extended the deadline for updating Aadhar card for free. Now this work can be done for free till 14 December 2024. The authority has decided to extend it for three months. UIDAI shared this information on social media and posted it on x handle.
The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has given the facility to update the Aadhar card made more than 10 years ago for free and its deadline was ending on September 14, which has now been extended. Earlier it was extended from 14 March to 14 June 2024 and then this last date was extended once again to 14 September. On 14 September (Saturday), another extension was made to it and now Aadhaar card users can get this work done absolutely free for three more months i.e. till 14 December.

Go to the official website myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in.
Login by entering your Aadhaar number and the OTP received on the registered mobile number.
Check the identity and address information given in your profile.
If the information is correct, click on “I verify that the above details are correct”.
Select the documents required for proof of identity and address from the drop-down menu.
Upload the selected documents. Each file should be less than 2 MB and in JPEG, PNG or PDF format.
Finally, confirm all your details and submit the updates.
