Our Chana is being exported to more than 60 countries of the world, which is a matter of pride. Our government’s vision is to get better prices for gram and strengthen the economy.
Madhya Pradesh CM Dr. Mohan Yadav said this during the first annual conference of Kabuli Chana Traders Association in Indore. Water Resources Minister Tulsiram Silavat, MP Shankar Lalwani, MLA Golu Shukla, and officials of the association and a large number of members were present in the program.
Dr. Yadav mentioned that the issue of the stock limit on Kabuli Chana was brought to their attention by the association, and it was promptly resolved. The removal of the stock limit on Kabuli Chana will benefit both farmers and traders, a decision also supported by the Central Government. Additionally, Dr. Yadav announced that the government is planning to celebrate Krishna Janmashtami with great enthusiasm, with Krishna Janamotsav events being organized across the state.
CM Mohan Yadav emphasized that Indore and Ujjain share a close connection, and he expressed confidence in the bright future of Madhya Pradesh from a commercial and business perspective. He announced plans to merge Indore, Ujjain, Dewas, and parts of Dhar district into a metropolitan city.
Dr. Yadav highlighted the success of the Industry Conclave organized by the state government in Coimbatore and Bengaluru, which has opened new avenues for investment in Madhya Pradesh. He pointed out the significant potential for food processing units in the state and assured that the government is making special efforts to establish new industries in this sector. He also encouraged the youth to take the initiative in setting up food processing units.
Dr. Yadav said that the state government is committed to providing all possible assistance to traders and solving their problems. For India to become a superpower, the collective participation of all is a must.

In their welcome address, Anup Mangija and Rajul Sarda of Kabuli Chana Association told about the progress and problems of the association. Naveen Garg proposed the vote of thanks.
